The editor forum login keeps telling me that I am logging in incorrectly. Then when I provide my username and my email address, it says they don't match up. I am definately at a loss about what to do, so if someone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Took me a while to figure out that your editorname is tleinwand. You should have mentioned that :) I've done a reset on your password in case that was the problem. Make sure you are entering your editorname and password, not editorname and email address as you mentioned above. Your password is not your email address.

still doesn't work

Sorry for not mentioning the name. I tried again and it still won't let me in. When I first became an editor, another editor mentioned to me that they were having problems with logins to the editor forum, so maybe that's part of it. I used my username, tleinwand, and my editor login password to try to get in to the forum. Is there supposed to be a different password? Then when I request them to mail me my password, it says that my username and email address do not match up. Very strange. Please help me fix this problem.

The editorname/password combination is the same for your dasboard and for getting into the forums. I don't understand what you're saying about "Then when I request them to mail me my password, it says that my username and email address do not match up." Where are you requesting this password reminder? The password reminder form only asks for your editorname and it e-mails your password to the e-mail address in your profile. I just tried the password reminder with your editorname and it seems to have been sent ok. Check your e-mail to see if your received the password.

How are you accessing the forums? Are you just clicking on the Editor Forum link on the dashboard?

I don't know what else to tell you. I guess that we can get Autumn to take a look at it and see if she can see anything strange.

link on the dashboard?

Yes, that's actually exactly what I'm doing. Am I missing something here? Then it takes me to a page requesting my log in username and password. I fill it in with 'tleinwand' and my editor password, but then it takes me to a page that says:
"You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password"
I thought perhaps the password was wrong, so thats what I meant when I asked the computer to send me another password, which is an option right beneath the editor login request (its a link saying "I forgot my password"). But when that page comes up, it requests the editor name and email address in order to send the password (which I fill out), then the computer tells me that the email address I give them does not match my editorname. So basically, the problem is not with my password; the problem must be that my editorname is just not in the forum system, which I heard supposedly works on a different system than the regular resource zone. I hope that covers all the details of the problem. I really hope we'll be able to solve it soon!

Thanks!

The forums are on a different server than the editor machine. I have read in forums that sometimes it takes a couple of days for them to synchronize. In other words, it is possible you can log on to the editor machine but the forum machine still does not know you are an editor. Am I right?

I've been an editor for about a month now, so it seems strange that it would still do that. If thats the reason though, can it be fixed?

You should be able to log into the internal editor forums now. I'm told that the forum database update didn't go through when your editor application was first approved. Have fun :)
