Problems Getting Listed! & Page Ranked

Hi,

I'm the webmaster for my companies site:

www.blackmetaldesign


We are a new firm, but all have years of experience of design background, we formed the company because we feel that the firms we worked for were charing far to mu money for the work we all produced!

So Black Metal Design was formed!

I'm trying my best to get the site listed and Page Ranked, I'm doing my best not to spam the site with keywords like some webmasters do, but have not been sucsessful in getting my site listed in the DMOZ, or getting a decent Page Rank.

Can any one help, as I'm doing something wrong!

Normaly we would let a SEO company do and advise on the SEO part, but we are trying our best to keep charges to our customers low as poss to provide a cost effective service.

PageRank isn't something we care about as editors and this forum really isn't for discussion of SEOing (there are a lot of webmaster/SEO forums on the web that'll help with SEO and PR tips).

RE: getting listed in the ODP, all you can do is suggest your site and then leav it alone -- if the site is listable according to our guidelines, it will eventually be listed but that could take minutes or years.
