Hi All,
I must be loosing my eyesight but I can't get past the captcha. I've tried reloading a few times but each one I get the error.

Here is the last one I tried:

Call me crazy, but this sure looks like "hdpjk".

Anyone else run across this?

Thanks!

Geoffrey

It kinda looks more like "hdplk" to me but then again its pretty tough to make out what is part of the letters and whats not. I had a similar problem the first time I used the new system as well. It was tough to tell the difference between "g" and "q" because the tail was cut off. I am not 100% sure but I believe this (or a similar issue) has been reported to staff, hopefully its something that can be fixed. Using the refresh option usually will prove effective...eventually.

My two pennies

Ok, tried/failed about 4-5 more times then I came upon this one which I assumed would be a slam dunk:

Still no luck. Do you know who I should contact about this?

Thanks,

Geoffrey

Yeah you would think that one is fairly clear.

I checked on this and it has been reported to staff and is a known issue. Its now in their hands, so hopefully it will be corrected soon. Sorry its giving you so much trouble. :(

Hey no problem. Good things come to those who wait. :)

Is it possible for someone to post here when a fix is in place? Or should I monitor the dmoz blog?

Thanks!

FYI: Staff announced that they are working on an improved solution, but it is not ready yet for public use. They did not give a schedule yet.

Since we here are working on a voluntary basis as well, there might be a risk we don't post it, but I am pretty confident we will :)
