Problems with site submission

Hello,

I have been trying to submit a site using http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi?where=Health/Alternative/Naturopathy/Practitioners_and_Clinics. Unfortunately, it does not process the form. Rather, it says that it is 'Opening page http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi...' without actually opening the page. I have been waiting for the page to open for about 30-45 minutes now. Should I try again? I don't want to spam the category with submissions if the form is going through, but just not opening the following page.

Thank you,
M.

I'd say if it's taking that long, to resubmit it once and see if you get any results. Anything after that you could try asking for the site status of it, to find out whether or not it made it though (or you could just skip to the latter, of course).

I am also experiencing an unacceptable delay in processing my submission - it has been an hour now, even after I interrupted and repeated it once.

I have unsuccessfully looked for a link to ask if the submission went through - and I just received a reply from webmaster@dmoz.org that nobody reads it!

So I guess this forum is my best bet.

The URL submitted is: http://www.theBizConnector.com
Title: BizConnector

Thanks for any information about this.

Please use the Site Submission Status forum to make inquiries on the status of a submission. Such questions won't be answered in this forum. Be sure to read the [thread=396]forum guidelines[/thread] before posting there.

Allow me to ask if this forum caters to the difference between:

a) my submitting a request which, after clicking the Submit button and waiting, I do not get an acknowledgement page (stating that my request has been received - by the server), and

b) my submitting a request, and getting an acknowledgement stating that my request has been received (by the server).

Thanks in advance.
