query re submission & category

Hi,

I already made a submission some months ago for http://www.gizagizmo.com but I now have no idea which category it was in (duh forgot, I can't even remember when I submit). I cannot find it anywhere on dmoz.

Im not sure it's been processed yet. It is a UK online gadget shop selling consumer electronics, toys and gifts and the like. The only thing I remember is that I couldn't find a gadgets category!

Should I re-submit, or must I wait for it to be processed.
I read somewhere resubmitting might get me deleted off database.

If......

1. You absolutely have no idea where you made the submissions.
2. You have done a Google search to see if it is listed anywhere in ODP, and it is not.
3. You have only submitted once in the past.


Then, by all means, resubmit to the single best category, write down the category and date, then 30 days later go to the site submission status forum and confirm that we have received your input.

One resubmit won't get you banned.

The site hasn't been accepted, moved, or rejected by an editor. I can't tell whether it is waiting review anywhere.

Without more information (like the category you submitted it to) that's all the information we can access.

I could have submitted to this following category as other similar shops are there

Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Business and Economy: Shopping: Gadgets

Is there any way of checking?

Also how many re-submits does it take to get banned - this is one thing I don't really want to do as I feel dmoz is one of the most essential search engines to be listed on.

Best thing to do would be resubmit the site to the one best category for it.

There is no set number of resubmits that would be problematic but whatever it is, you're not at it yet.
