hello my site stats show that a dmoz editor has visited my site, and I was curious if a decision had been made dmoz ref 20081027932244.

cheers

If there was a decision to list, all the world will be soon be able to find it by doing a search on the URL ("soon" == "within a week or so").

Otherwise there's no information publicly available. (There may not even be any information available to other editors.)

Note that "list" and "do not list" are not the only possibilities. Others include "consider reviewing for some other category/categories", "list some other URL in this category", "do not list, but mine for links", "do not list, but analyse carefully for improvement of spam-detection techniques," and of course "defer any action till later."

Also note that most actions are not final. One editor may decide not to go through the effort of deciding whether a site apparently not very valuable is technically listable; but another may take the extra effort. One editor may list a site accidentally or erroneously, and another editor may move or delete it.

That reference refers to the editor application that we were discussing in another thread. It has absolutely nothing to do with the progress or not of a listing suggestion. Your site might have been visited whilst we were attempting to disentangle conflicting information.

In general, you can't draw any conclusion from a dmoz.org entry in your logs.

Such a reference in your statistics means nothing.
It can be that an editor looked at your website.
After he has looked at the website he might have come to a decission. (list, reject, move)
He might not have come to a decission and have done nothing.

If your website got listed you will be able to see the outcome.

<added>That doesn't happen often. Jim was faster. :D</added>
