Question about Redirects on Submitted Sites

Hello,

I read the guidelines for submitted sites and noticed the information about not accepting sites with redirects.

My site uses a redirect from the root directory to my shopping cart area because I'm unable to relocate my cart area now that it has already been installed. I'm not using a redirect for cloaking or any type of funny business, it is just that I don't want a splash screen and I haven't figured out how to make my cart area appear in the root directory.

My question is this... Will my site be rejected for this?

I hope it won't, but if so I can understand. It will simply mean a technical challenge for myself to overcome in order to meet the submission guidelines.

Thanks for any information you can provide!

No, it won't have any effect on the review of your site.

I've seen similar redirects on a huge number of sites submitted, you are redirecting within that same url...nothing sneaky about that at all ;)

The thing thats bad to do is to have a site www.abc.com listed in ODP in one category, then have a URL www.def.com submitted to a similar category, but all www.def.com does is redirect the user to www.abc.com. Tries to fool the editors into listing the site twice, since the url is different but the content is the same.
