Question from an ignoramous

Sorry to be posting this as a reply, but it was the only way I could figure out how to post a question.

My question: How do I change or delete OD references to my business (there are at least 20 that I have found) which contain an out-of-date URL? Ideally, I'd like to have all those links to my current web site, but I would settle for removal of the listings and starting over.

Thanks

I split the thread and that would be ignoramus :).

Visit each category where your website is listed, click on the update listing link at the top and follow your nose. Some editor with permissions to work there will process it.

It would be good if each old page has either a redirect to its new equivalent or a visible redirection statement. Without one of those, the editor might mistake your request for a listing hijack attempt - yes they do happen.

Ignoramuses aren't ever the problem. The problems (here as everywhere) are the folks who know so many things that aren't so.
