Hi Guys,
Dmoz must be having some sort of a break coming Christmas and the New Year. Question is when are you guys coming back to work. What about the back log that's going to be there plus all the incomings? Why don't you just give us all an answer and tell us you are all taking some time off or something.
I believe we can all take the truth. This so call break down has been too long. The back log of work is too much too long and the incoming work will be to too much to handle. There has got to be a rocket scientist out there that can help you fellows out.
My 2 cents worth

Merry Christmas and a very happy New year to all.

This is not about telling the truth or not.

You can read all the information currently available in the announcement in the top of every forums.

As we are all volunteers, and editing is simply a hobby, it is something we like to do when are not working. ;)

The Announcement Thread (which is stickied at the top of each forum for those who care) gives all the answers we have and will be updated when we know more. You seem to indicate we all know the secret and are trying to keep it from you. The editors (including Meta's and other Senior editors) don't know anything more than what has been said in the announcement. There were some technical problems, they are being actively worked on to get the editors back online and editing but there have been no further developments.

There is nothing new to report at this time. Please stay tuned to the Announcement Thread for more information. Thanks.
