Our site name has been changed from All Sexy Shoes to ePed, Inc in category http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/Footwear/High_Heels/
Our parent company's name is ePed, Inc but the name of the site is All Sexy Shoes. Our "legal" doing business as name is also All Sexy Shoes. Can you tell me why this was done and if we can get it switched back? Thanks for your time :D

I think we finally decided to change your site name to the business name after we dealt with all the fraternal mirror urls that you submitted to the directory.

I am sorry. I did not know you had a policy on Fraternal Mirrors (I didn't even know what that was). I did read your policies 1st and since our sites have completely different shoes, different manufactures, different warehouse in different cities we thought it was ok to submit them. We can not have all our shoes on 1 site due to that they are shipped out of different cities among a lot of other internal reasons. Our one website has mainly single sole shoes www.allsexyshoes.com and the other has mainly platform shoes www.allhighheelshoes.com. The only thing that they have in common is all the shoes have heels. I understand that you will not put All High Heel Shoes on your directory (I do not agree but understand). So I have 2 questions. Can you please change our site name back to All Sexy Shoes? (We won't bother you by submitting our sites again) And I have submitted our other website www.allshoesandboots.com is there going to be any problems getting that site on? It is completely different. It has Gothic shoes and boots for men and women. Our other sites are sexy high heels. Thanks again for your time ;)

Part of the problem here is that we are coming at this from different directions. I know that to you, shoes are different than boots, and stuff shipped from one location is different than stuff being shipped from a different location.

To us, they are all forms of footwear. If your company did boots and apple pies, we might consider a second listing, but not for boots and high-heels.

Many submitters recognize this and put together a single, listable website that serves to direct visitors to the multitude of other sites they have, and they they request that we consider the site as high in the tree as practical, given the merchandise they offer. This way, they are covered in the directory, yet can separately market and promote the individual websites. When done right, this approach helps customers move across the various product lines.

If you want to have an editor consider the title change, submit an update url request in the category you are already listed. If you want, put a link to this thread at the end of the description with a note to the editor to take a look at it you could do that as well. They might or might not make the change but that is the procedure to go through to have the change considered.

Best of Luck!
