I new to this and hope I am in the right place. I looked over the placement rules, and it said no mirror sites. My question is this. I am an independent Distributor and have a corporate site that is listed and mine is identical in everyway, but mine is personalized specificly to me so when people go there to purchase a product, they are purchasing from me not a random indiviual as in the corportae site. My site does have a different URL. Will my site be listed or is there a way to get my site listed?

The term "independent Distributor" has a very negative impact as it used in many cases to identify an affiliate of the real company.
If you are a real business which provides real services to his customers than you are listable.

Let's simplify this.

Editors would likely list the corporate Amw*y site, but would generally not list individual Amw*y distributor sites.

Thanks for the replys. Would you suggest I just submit the site and see what happens? Or, can I give both sites (corporate) and (mine) here in this forum so a better understanding of my question can be had

Neither.

Do you have a storefront where people can come in, look at your merchandise and either buy or shoplift? If so, does your website point people to this address?

Yes my web address will take them to a site to view, shop or shoplift product or merchandise.

Only if you are a real company that provides real services to customers.
In our experience people who call themself "independent distributors" al most never do.
Sites that sell products and do not have a fysical (bricks & mortar) store normaly would be listed in http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/. Please read the category description and faq. And especially Affiliate, Mirror and Redirect, MLM and Distributor, Dropshippers, and Template Shopping Sites
If you still think your site is listable after you read all this please suggest it to the one best category. An editor will look at your suggestion and decide if you were correct or wrong.

We can not give any more advise without reviewing the site, which is something we won't do at R-Z.

Or, can I give both sites (corporate) and (mine) here in this forum so a better understanding of my question can be had
No please don't.

Thanks again for the info, I did read the info and it seems to my understanding of it that my site would still be listable, under one subject or another. I am sure the powers to be would decide that. Again thanks for the guidance.

Thanks Motsa. I guess I will keep searching and reading and I will find a way of getting this site promoted on the Web.
