I have been reading some threads here tonight and have some questions. I submitted my site to DMOZ 2 months ago, I am not wondering when or if I will be listed. After reading some of the posts here I am concerned.

It seems as though if I submit my site to you, instead of being found, it could be considered sp@m, is that true? I do not spam by the way.

I also read that some people say you 'black list' sites, is that true?

If either one of these items are true, how can I find out if my site is 'black listed' or has been put in a 'sp@m' folder?

I also noticed a site listed in DMOZ that has been mirrored on different servers and different domain names. How do I notify you of the situation?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Spam is not made from one or two suggestions - I wouldn't worry about that (or about being "blacklisted" - unless you've done something devious and/or underhanded). :)

Visit the quality control thread to report the mirrored site, if both mirrors are listed.

Thanks for your help.

Suggesting a site that fits the DMOZ guidelines once will never be see as spam.
By suggesting a site and/or its mirrors many, many times to many, many different categories might get you marked as a spammer.

If we have such a thing there can't be anything to worry about if you have a normal site.

You can't.

We don't mind the fact that a site has mirrors. We just won't list them. If you noticed that mirrors of the same site ar listed in DMOZ you can report them in the thread "Report Hijacks, Dead Links, Inappropriate ODP Content, and other issues here ONLY" within the forumpart "Quality Control Feedback"
