Hi,
I can't seem to find my old thread in the status check. I submited a site http://www.face2meet.com , and had to change this due to a potential legal issue to http://www.profileheaven.com. I just wish to check if this did get queued for review, I am not intrested in the status as I realise this takes over 6 months in general to get listed, if at all. The place I think it was submited:- Computers/Internet/Cyberspace/Online_Communities/ OR/AND Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Society_and_Culture/Chats_and_Forums/

If you could be so kind to tell me if this is their so I do not re-submit a site that you already have on queue and make extra work for someone.

Thank You Kindly,
Mark Harburn

If it was more than 6 months since you last suggested the site, then ONE further resubmission to the correct category is allowed. It will overwrite any suggestion that is already there, if there is one there.

In this case there is totaly no need to resuggest.
In the original thread http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21491 it clearly has been stated "Your suggestion has been received and is awaiting review".
A suggestion has only 2 ways to be removed from the suggestion-pool. It is listed or it isn't listable. In both cases we don't want the site to be suggested again.

It has been confirmed. The last screen in the suggesting proces is your confirmation. That is all you will ever get.

Why come back? What do you hope to gain by asking again a year from now?
I can give you the status of your site at that moment right now.
The site is either listed (you can see this yourself in the directory) or it isn't.

My hosting service has had intermittant problems over time as I suspect most do. In the off chance that the probablilities line up that a site is not working at the time an editor reviews the site is the site then not listable or does the suggestion remain alive and is reviewed again at some point in time in the future. If one is concerned that this might be the issue does it make sense to resubmit after 6 or so months?

Editors will frequently leave the site there for awhile if it isn't responding at the time they look at it. But if it is still not working the next time they check it, they may well delete the suggestion. http://resource-zone.com/forum/showpost.php?p=192198&postcount=10 has more detail.

It's entirely up to you whether you resuggest it at that point.
