I also submitted the site to a regional category. At:

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Event_Planning/ (UK/Business+Economy/Event Planning)

is that compatible with the non-regional submission to:
http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_S...roduction/Convention_and_Trade_Show_Services/ (Business_Services/Event_Planning_and_Production/Convention+Trade_Show_Services) ?

If not, would this regional category be suitable:
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni...ncashire/Business_and_Economy/Event_Planning/ (UK/England/Lancashire/Business+Economy/Event_Planning) ?

Any thoughts?

Regional Submission

Hello there

I've been waiting a few days for a reply so I think I've probably made a mistake when submitting my follow up question. Should I use a new thread, or am I making a mistake when posting a reply? If you're an editor reading this then probably not (is there a way to signal that a post is a question?). Perhaps it's the question it self?

My question is: Are my two submissions compatible, or should I try another regional category? All the relevant urls are in the previous post.

I hope you don't think I'm being impatient, but you usually respond really quickly. I think I might have been missed.

You are allowed a Business listing and a Regional listing. It will be up to the UK editors to decide where in Regional it actually goes. However, submitting to what you think is the best category is the right thing to do. :)

It won't affect your Business listing at all.

Bumping the thread is fine. It gets busy in here, and requests sometimes sink rapidly.

Waiting in the Convention_and_Trade_Show_Services cat. I see no sign of it having been received in the other.

You confirmed that it is still waiting in the Business category, thanks. But that there is no sign in the regional category. Previously in this thread JimNoble confirmed that is was in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Event_Planning/ . Is it possible to find out (if it's definitely not there) what was done with it? ie: refused/moved et cetera.
