I submitted a site to ODP in Jan. 2005. As it has not been listed, I have occasionally tried to figure out why, and have come up with these possibilities:
1 - My site is hard to categorize and it has been shuffled around from one category to another;
2 - The main content of my site was first offered in a powerpoint presentation format. When I realized--in my extreme newbieness--that this wasn't too cool for universal access purposes, I put the text and graphics of my content on regular html web pages. But months later I discovered that FireFox wasn't showing the graphics.
Whatever the reason for my not being listed, I have a new host and URL for essentially the same content, which may be grasped with the provided text only. May I re-submit--to a slightly more appropriate category?
