Re-submitting site - some specific advice needed

Hello Editors and Helpful Fellows,

I have finally found the most relevant category for my website. However, I had submitted my website to the incorrect categories some 2 months ago.

I know that re-submitting the site repeatedly may hamper my chance of getting listed, so I want to know if there is any way by which I can safely submit my site to the newly discovered best category without hampering my prospects due to repeated submission.
