Well it said this is the place for editors to kick back. So that is what I am going to do.

If someone would be able to answer this question I would be able to realy kick back.

Ok here it is:

I'm going in for a job interview at Toys"r"us and was wondering what the interview process is like. Please only decribe if you know about the toys'r'us interview process.

Also what is the dress code.

Thanks

If this is not the place to post this please redirect me and I will delete this post.

Good day to all :D :) :p  ;)

Go to the interview dressed like a skunk. The interviewer loves originality.

To the best of my knowledge...
In order to maximise your value for any position, If you are a Gentleman you should wear a business suite, if you are a woman, you should wear a business outfit.
This seems to hold true regardless of what the job entails.

Going for a job with Toys r Us would probably need a different technique to the usual run of the mill job interview. I always find that doing what you feel like rather than what you have been told is 'correct' usually works. If you put yourself in the interviewers position it helps as well. If you imagine being the interviewer at Toys r Us - they would constantly be thinking the next person in is bound to be dressed as Mickey Mouse - but they never are - they always come in wearing a business suit. So here is my advice :-

For Gods' sake wear a Mickey Mouse suit and let the interviewer off - you'll get the job for sure.
.

Let me know how you get on. Oh please go on - please please please.

Right - you have a choice bottlewater - it's either Pepe LePew or Mickey Mouse - which are you going to go with ?

Keep in mind that your entire future career could be in the balance.

A serious answer to the dress code issue.

Actually, you don't want to overdress too much. If you are going to apply for a stock clerk position, don't wear a three piece suit. A shirt & tie would be more appropriate. If you are applying for CEO, then wear the three piece suit. I applied for a job at a printer, wore jeans, and was hired. But that is more of a blue-collar type position. A good rule of thumb: How would the interviewer dress? Gear your dress code to match his or hers.

Go in dressed as santa, say you love kids and you need the wages to pay for toys and liposuction. :p
