Is there a way to find out why the site was removed? I had site listed for couple of years and suddenly I don't see it in DMOZ. It is http://www.millionsaver.com

I would really like to learn why it was removed. It was listed under real estate agents in Las Vegas, NV.

Probably one or more of the following, but we don't really discuss these things

http://www.dmoz.org/add.html

Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory. Sites with overlapping and repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.

http://dmoz.org/guidelines/regional/realestate.html

Real Estate categories are often targets for inappropriate submissions. Many agents will attempt to have their site listed multiple times, particularly in each city where they operate. As described below, the convention is to list agent/agency sites only once in the Directory.

multiple sites

Yes, I have multiple sites, but www.millionsaver.com was the only real estate site listed in DMOZ. www.millionsaver.com is for Las Vegas, where we have real estate brokerage. Then we have site www.homesparadise.com, which is also about real estate, but nationwide.. I wouldn't say they are duplicate, because each is about something different. We also have virtual tour business and we have another site for that www.buyvegashome.com. I cannot imagine to convert all sites to one if that is what DMOZ editors would like to see. We are also in incorporation business www.incparadise.com and we have to have more sites. If anyone has some comment I would like learn what is expected. Is DMOZ for people owning just one site?

No. You are allowed to own as many sites as you like. But we will only list 1 (the one that seems to be the major site of the company) and you are only allowed to suggest 1 site.

You may be interested to read our guidelines about Real Estate sites - you can find them here: http://dmoz.org/guidelines/regional/realestate.html . While many of our guidelines are subject to editor discretion, the Real Estate ones are among those that should be seen as rules rather than guidelines. They are very inflexible.
