Reason of application rejected

Hello,
I'm Fendgy.My application was denied and I've no idea why.

The category which I've applied is:
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/China/Business_and_Economy/Industries/Manufacturing/Electrical/.

The sample Urls are:
1, Title: Dongguan Huada Cable Co.,Ltd.
Url: http://www.dg-huada.com/doce/about.htm
Description:Manufacturer of electric wires and cables,connectors.

2, Title: Wujin ENR Electronic Co., Ltd.
Url : http://www.cn-enr.com/index-en.htm
Description: Manufacturer of optical electronics,PVC wires and cables,low voltage devices,audio/video connectors and connecting wires.

3, Title: Xishan City Fengquan Electric Wire and Cable Works
Url : http://www.fengquandx.com/htmls/en_frame.htm
Description: Manufacturer of electric wires,cables and enamel-insulated wires.

I spent lots of time in making sure my application was just right.I've applied to be an editor of the ODP for many times. <img src="/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" /> Is there anyone who can tell me the reason? I'm really looking forward to participating.Thanks!

If you know your application was rejected, you surely have received a rejection letter, stating the general reason why the application was rejected. In some cases, there may even be a specific comment at the bottom.

Yeah,I've recieved that email,but there weren't any specific comments at the bottom.I wondered if all the reasons mentioned at that rejection email occurred in my application.Could you tell me please?Thanks again.

Denied apps are not archived, so it's not possible to comment on yours. The rejection email lists the most common reasons. If there's no specific comments, one or more is applicable.

As you already know, you can apply again if/when you wish. It would be a good idea to read the FAQ and General Advice thread at the beginning of this forum first if you don't know it, though.

One comment I will make is that you need to put a space after the comma (eg "The birds, and the bees") and you shouldn't repeat 'manufacturer' and 'eletric' quite so much. Seeing as they are in a category that has words to that effect in the path, they are redundant. I hope this helps you if you decide to apply again.

No, but almost certainly at least one of them does.

I am not meaning to be harsh: but, to be an effective editor you need to be able to figure out which one it was. All the reasons are related to the editors' guidelines.

I've reapplied again for that category(http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/China/Business_and_Economy/Industries/Manufacturing/Electrical/) a few days ago. I wanna know if you have recieved my application(Fendgy). Because I still haven't recieved any type of your replies. I think maybe there's some problems with my mail box. Would you tell me what's the status of my application please? And any of your advices will be appreciated.

The application is in the queue, but I see you have misunderstood an important question. I'll reject it (explaining what the problem is), so you can reapply with complete information.

If you don't get the rejection email with my comments, please tell me (here or via PM or ODP feedback), and I'll PM it to you here.

Sorry about that <img src="/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" /> I tried to reject, but the form timed out, and now I have problems reloading the application queue. (I'm sitting behind a firewall which doesn't give me access to the editor-only server, so I'm a bit hampered in my editing.) I'll get that rejection done as soon as possible.
