Hi, just signed up for a login to the Resource Zone forum, and wondered whether the deliverability problem with the confirmation e-mail was something I should make other ODP staff aware of. I used my Hotmail account for the signup process, I'm using the newest version of Hotmail and the resource-zone.com e-mail was not only junked by Hotmail, it was marked as dangerous. Basically, before Hotmail would let me read it there was a four click process of assuring Hotmail that yes I knew who it was from, trusted the sender and so on.
I get tons of SPAM via Hotmail that isn't treated as harshly! I also checked and the mailserver is on a couple of blacklists:
TXT= "5-static.reverse.softlayer.com. Dynamic IP or generic rDNS. Use your ISPs mail service, or whitelist at: http://moensted.dk/spam/no-more-funn/?addr=208.101.52.58
TXT= "Listed at APEWS-L2 - visit http://www.apews.org/?page=test&C=82&E=200913&ip=208.101.52.58
Or is the mailserver using a dynamic IP address? If it is, then shouldn't it be done using a static?
