Hi,

In mid January I submitted my site to the
http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Biotechnology_and_Pharmaceuticals/Directories/ category.

I figured either this or
http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Biotechnology_and_Pharmaceuticals/Pharmaceuticals/Directories/

would be appropriate. Can someone please let me know the status of my submission.

You're waiting for review in the first category you mentioned. The queue is fairly small.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

It's good to hear that the queue is fairly small, but the only thing I am worried about is that the number of websites listed in this category has not grown since Mid/Late January. Even if the queue is small, I'm still stuck until the queue review starts again.

Would it be worth me submitting to the second category?

Hi,

It has been 7 months since my first submission to the category and it still has not grown so I am stuck....do I submit to a different category and risk going to the back of the queue?

The section I applied for is: http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Biotechnology_and_Pharmaceuticals/Directories/ can someone please have a look at it?

The site is awaiting review in that category.

And the short answer to your supplemental question is "no". Submitting to another category will not help you get listed any quicker.
