Are we able to have a listing in the business category or our site and in the regional category?

A business site may be considered for both global (topical business) and local (Regional/locality) significance. We don't guarantee a listing in either one; but a listing in one will not preclude it from being listed in the other.

Hi Hutcheson,

Hope you had a great New Year up Dallas way.

I have discovered that my Arcos Mexican Cooking Vacation website should be in DMOZ Culinary Institutes. At the time of my original submission I was intimidated by the term "Culinary". But, it certainly qualifies equally with MexicanHomeCooking.com and some others I see. I submitted it last month to this category, understanding that there was no reason why it could not be included in both categories, the other being-- My original listing .

I notice that my new submission was passed over on January 13 and is not listed. If I cannot be listed in both places at the same time, for whatever reason, I would like my site to be listed in just one, the most appropriate place being in the DMOZ Culinary Institutes. Shall I go back and re-submit to this category? For whatever reason the submission I entered here last month has been passed over.

Thank you for your information.

If by "passed over" you mean "rejected", don't worry. The site suggestion is still waiting in the topical category Culinary Institutes.
