Regional listing

One of our sites is listed in the main category. We had also submitted to a regional cat, but I have been informed that it has been rejected from the regional cat, because no relevance to the region was found.

We offer services in the particular region, specifically Liaison with government departments, and representing foreign companies in the region, but this information is mentioned only on the about us page. Probably the editor may have missed it.

What would be the most appropriate course of action, to ensure that we are reconsidered for a regional listing.

Thanks

Make the local content a tad more evident perhaps?

Oh, and resuggest it there of course. Be sure to do so to the actual locality, not some larger region.

also understand, that as a broad generalization, Regional/ links are about where you are and not where you market, hope to market, or pretend to market.

Best advice: drill down to the single deepest possible Regionals/ subcategory based on your physical presence, and if it needs to be moved up, the editor will usually recognize that fact.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'll keep that in mind when re-submitting. Thanks again.
