reinstated, but can't access password

Hi, I recently requested reinstatement, and it was granted, however, right before that I had used the form on the odp website to request my password, as one of the forms I was filling out asked for my old password. Probably my email was one that I don't have access to anymore, and the password was sent there, becuase I never received one.

Now that I am reinstated, I tried to login but need my olod password, so I tried to request it again, and the form returns this 'error - password was recently sent' and so won't re-send.

I asked the editor who reinstated me and she advised I come ask here for help.

Your account was reinstated some years ago but it has since lapsed.

I can find no evidence that you requested reinstatement recently or that such a request was accepted.

That you've forgotten some of your login details or you no longer have access to your original email account are merely stumbling blocks, not show stoppers.

Convince me that you are who you say you are and I can reset your email address of record to one that works today. This will make it possible for you to request a password reminder and complete a reinstatement request form.

Sorry, but there is a misunderstanding, joli. I did not "reinstate" you, but merely reset your email after you provided the above information.
The current difficulty apparently refers to password retrieval.
A request for reinstatement will then be possible, and it will be reviewed in the normal way.

Just to add:

For security reasons, password reminders can only be issued at minimum intervals of approximately 5 days. Seems like you'll have to wait a few more before asking for another .
