I have been an editor in the past for,
http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Performing_Arts/Hypnotism/Hypnotists/

Into username was, upcojr

I was removed for not editing for 4 months as I was traveling across America for almost a year. I have several new sites of performers I personally experienced in my travels (many in Las Vegas that are great and not listed) that I would like to add.
My problem is that I receive a username/password error when I try to apply to be reinstated. I have changed the password twice with no luck and I know my user name is correct because it emails my correct email. I have also tried using my full email as the user name with no luck.

Help would be so greatly appreciated.

The editor name you provided certainly is correct
If you have requested a password reminder and did receive the email than the emailaddress is also coorect and there can be no doubt that you are this editor.
There is ofcourse the possibilty that you made a typing error.
But my guess is that there is some issue with your password.
Do not tell us your password but how many characters is it and does it have special characters (anything except standard alphabet or numbers).
You could try to change it to a password of 8 charcters long and only alphabet and numbers.
There are some specials chars that I think might give problems. Certainly do not use any diacritics (like ä ç è )

It's 13 characters and has on symbol and one Capitol. Is it possible that the password change is not going through and is only going to accept the old password? I don't remember it but could probably figure it out. I am just afraid of being locked out. Does anybody here have the ability to check and see if my password was changed today and if the changes are effective?

For security reasons other editor can not see your password.
I also am not able to see if it was changed.
As I wrote try a password of 8 positions with only alphabetic characters and numbers.
And to be certain do use only lowercase.

Have you tried the reminder form? - Also clearing the cache on some browsers helps with this kind of issue...
No jokes about using auto-hypnotism to remember, promise ;)
