Reinstatement: kraml

Hi,

does anyone by any chance know what the status of my reinstatement request is?

Applied last Saturday, think I did everything by the book (i. e. picked a three-entries, no-spam, no-editors leaf cat I can reasonably claim expertise on), but no word so far.

I think I do. At least the application processing script seems to have accepted the password I've provided.

For a reinstatement you don't have to supply examples. There is a special reinstatement form where you can ask for your old account to be reinstated.

If your account is reinstated you receive a mail, telling you so. If this should ge lost, try to login with your old username/password.

OK, now I see what you're talking about. Your reinstatement application is waiting to be reviewed. I see that you mention something about taking on a Regional category. That's not how reinstatement works. If you get reinstated it will be to the original categories that you had when you timed-out or quit. So you just have to be patient until someone gets a chance to review the application

I see... apologies for my original post not being clear enough. (Any hints on how I *should* have written this?)

Regarding the Regional category stuff: I knew from the instructions reinstatement by itself wouldn't get me a new cat; my talking about the Regional cat was just meant to answer the "Why'd you want to be reinstated anyway?" question on the form: there is a certain Regional leaf cat that (a) needs editing and that (b) I happen to care about.
