Reinstatement

Hey all,

I was an editor around 2001-2006 (give or take!) and was lead on many categories, many of them in the formerly large Adult section of DMOZ.

I do not recall my editing name or login (seems almost all of adult was removed so i can't find any categories i used to work in). I wish to reinstate because I enjoyed editing here as a hobby and working with a team to improve the open directory.

Can anyone help me locate my old login? It would have probably been under <emails removed for your protection> as the account email addy. Is it possible it was deleted?

We aren't able to search by email until AOL have fixed a bug and I can't predict when that be.

Please bump this thread in a month. You haven't been an editor for around 8 years so waiting so this shouldn't be a biggy.

Ohh ya Jim a month is about what I expected to hear back on the application submission so I'm way ahead already in this process . Glad to see there is still some good activity here.

I'm pretty sad to see so much of the things we worked on back in the day now gone. It was a lot of work and very clean!!

If you are able you can try to look me up by username, which might have been FNPDave or DaveFNP. I'm guessing that email search could be down for months? TYIA

There has never been an editor with either name. (lowercase as editornames are always lowercase)

Was using caps when trying to remember password by entering users. If the email is <removed for your privacy> or @freenetpass neither works.

Yes, that editorname is known and is associated with both emailaddresses you mentioned.

The password retrieval isn't sending the reminder to freenetpass (email address removed for your privacy) (one of the emails associated to the account). Can anyone set that as the main email address on the account so i can retrieve the password?

That is the email address on the account; I've made the request for you, so you should have mail (if not, you may need to whitelist @dmoz.org).
