Have you read the FAQ that addresses this very question?

Thanx, I have read, but thats not a remedial answer. If a website have a page with unique contents and is also a non-profit project among thousands of webpages then it should be listed in this open directory, Is NOT? Notice that many paid web directories give relaxation for non-profit projects.

As the FAQ notes:

There is no timeline for when a suggested website will get reviewed, and it is not uncommon for review times to be stated in terms of years.

Nonprofits get no special treatment.
Profits get no special treatment.
No one gets special treatment.

Again Thanx for a beautiful answer. We also need no special treatment. We need just speed from LARGEST WEB DIRECTORY OF THE WEB as you say. Remember in this speedy age you tell us about YEARS, Is DMOZ living in 60s, 70s. Anyway thanx for telling us about correct situation, Now I have no wish to get listed in this speedy Web Directory. GOD BLESS UPON YOU AND YOUR DIRECTORY

Unfortunately the directory does not provide the services you 'need'. There is no expedited review process, there is not guarantee that any site suggestion will be included, and there is no listing services provided.

The editors organize links on a topic based on the directory's guidelines. The work is done by volunteers at their own speed and on their own time. The previous replies to your inquiries were straightforward and factual. They are common questions and the FAQ here helps to answer many of the most common ones.

We welcome all (well most all) suggestions, but thats all they are is a suggestion that an editor should take a look at and consider the site being suggested. There is no way to predict when a review will occur or which of the volunteers will perform one. If you have suggested your URL, thank you. You have done every thing you can now to bring it to the attention of the editors. There is nothing more that you need to do. Eventually an editor will be able to see and review your suggestion, if it meets the editing guidelines for inclusion it will be added. If not, we still thank you for your suggestion.
