Our website has always been in two categories Sports:Cycling:Travel:Tour Operators:Asia category and also Regional:Asia:Mongolia:Travel and Tourism:Travel Services . Both these categories are appropriate because we spcialize in mountain biking tours in Mongolia. On 2nd March we submitted a request to update our description because we now offer a wider range of activities like motorcycling and overland expeditions. Since then our site has been removed from the Regional category and the description remains the same in Sports category. Please would you consider replacing our site in the Regional category ? I have submitted it today to the Regional category, but not sure if this is the correct procedure. Please advise. Thank you.

No, this is not a place to make suggestions about listings. That should be done over at dmoz.org, where they can be processed by any active editor (not just the few who read this forum) by the extremely efficient mechanisms set up there.

When a sites content changes it requires a re-review of the site to see if it still belongs in the category. An editor may temporarily remove a site from a category pending that re-review (doesn't always happen, just noting that it can).

There are specific guidelines for listing a tour operator which can be found at http://dmoz.org/guidelines/travel/#touroperators.

Based purely on the information provided above "we spcialize in mountain biking tours in Mongolia" and "we now offer a wider range of activities like motorcycling and overland expeditions" the Sports listing is likely to need re-evaluating.

In Regional tour operators are normally listed at their physical place of business, and sometimes also at the area they run tours to if it is clearly a specialised region (ie not multi continent).
