Remove Search Box

I want remove the search open box on my site. I took the code out and the box is not there when I preview. However, when I upload the page the search open box re-appears again. How can I remove it?

If I'm reading you correctly, you put an ODP search box on your site and you want to get rid of it? If you removed the search box code from the page's source, then any problems you're having with the search box still appearing are because of issues on your end (e.g. not saving the file, not overwriting the page on your server correctly, etc.). In any case, it's not something we can help you with.

Thanks. Managed to resolve this issue. Seemed to be a problem with uploading the revised Index Page, but all OK now.
