Removing a site from a submission category

I want to withdraw my site from one category because I resubmitted into a different category that was more specific. First choice was not the best fit. What should I do? I don't want to be seen as taking advantage of this directory. www.winsorpd.com

Submit an update request for the old entry asking for it to be moved. Since decisions are made by editors, there is no guarantee that it will be moved.

We don't remove entries except we agree that they are misplaced, then they are moved.

Windharp's advice is excellent as usual, but it only works if the site in question has been listed.

In this case, since your site has not yet been listed (as discussed in your other thread ), there really is nothing you can do to remove it from the pool of unreviewed sites. If you believe there is a more specific category for your site, just suggest the site there. Submitting twice isn't going to get you called a spammer (but don't submit too many times... ).

What other category were you thinking of?
