removing site

pls, be so kind and tell me how can i remove my site from dmoz.org listing?

I was tried to contact editor about changin my informations or removing but no answer from editor

anyone?

Editors rarely, if ever reply to submitters -- experience has proven that doing so is not a wise move.

There is no mechanism for you to request that a site be removed. Making it foolproof so that no competitor could trick us is a nearly insurmountable problem.

You, however can disable the site.

Conversely, you can password protect he site (and let us know) and we will then remove it -- but if at some point you remove the password protection we could list it again.

If all you really want is to have the descripti changed, you can go to the category wher the site is listed and click on the Update URL link and request the change there. Be aware, though, that we will not accomodate a description change that is not supported by the content of the website, or that attempts to turn a compliant description into a keyword stuffed bucket of bile.

Why not post your URL here and the change you want. We won't change the URL on the basis of a posting here, but we can give you a pretty strong hint as to whether or not your request will receive serious consideration.

a few times i was requested description change but nothing changes
for this reason i requested deleting my site from dmoz.org directory
