Removing the WWW

I had a site accepted several months ago.

I'd submitted it as www.mysitename.com

It appeared in the directory without the www and is merely mysitename.com

Why would an editor take the www part away?

I think we would have to have the specific URL to be able to answer.

I see now what the editor has done. There are 2 sites in the small category this site appears in that have their logo displayed as Sitename.com as opposed to www.sitename.com

I assume the editor took the www out due to the occurence of this logo title on every page...

Why don't you just give us the URL so that we can see what you are talking about? We don't "do" logos, so your second post makes no real sense.

Really, these kind editors don't bite and are very helpful so don't hesitate to give them the info they need to help you.
