Just visit the category and use the update listing link at the top of the page. Anybody can suggest websites or changes to their listings - not just website owners :).

I find the website in question is listed in a search, including the category, but is not listed on the category page. I've cleared my browser cache but it still appears in the search results. Perhaps this is normal behaviour? Or symptomatic of some issue?

Search results can be several days old. The actual category is the authoritative source.

If the broken site is no longer listed there, I guess that one of our editors or a robot already got to it :).
