Request for status on CollegeSportsInfo.com

Greetings.

I was hoping to find out the status of my submission. I submitted it over a year ago and when i didn't get any response, I thought I might have been having connectivity problems since I was on a dial-up at the time.

I've recently resubmitted the site as such:

The site I submitted it quite comprehensive and has been referenced by many online and print media sources as well as radio shows. It's quite a hobby of mine and since the site is a directory first and foremost, I even applied to be an editor fo rthe category sinc eI access so many related directories on a daily basis. Alas, I was refused.

Any feedback would be great, especially since I had another site, with little traffic or relevance added almost instantly 2 years ago and CollegeSportsInfo.com has been taking years now.

Alrighty, it's been over a month since I applied so as per the guidelines, I'm officially posting this to inquire on the status of http://collegesportsinfo.com.

As I included in my application, CollegeSportsInfo.com is a one-of-a-kind site providing the most comprehensive directory of college sports fansites, official NCAA school websites and other related websites on the internet. There really isn't a single other site that provides this information and there aren't any others listed in DMOZ.

The site also serves as the only site that provides original news regarding the topic of NCAA conference realignment.

I know NCAA sports aren't really a big niche from the DMOZ crowd, but
I hope someone could put this through for me. I officially submitted this site over a year ago and did re0submit it last month since I just wanted to make sure that the submission had been entered on my part.

I have another site that was submitted and accepted within a week, so I apologize for being persistant with this submission request. It's just that the site that was accepted was no where near the quality of content that CollegesportsInfo.com is and provides little to no content. CollegesportsInfo.com on the other hand offers original content and news for sports fans that they can't find on any other website.

Thank you for your response. I know there are so many sites that must get reviewed, so I appreciate your post. I got spoiled by only having to wait a week or two for a very minor site of mine last year, but have been waiting over a year for a site to be included that actually provides something to offer the online community (since it's a unique directory and news service for college sports).

I've noticed that there still isn't a listing in the seciton the site would most likely be placed, http://dmoz.org/Sports/College_and_University/Directories/

Just touching base again. Any input would be most helpful.

You last had a status on 07-12-2004, so you are next eligible on 1-13-05. I know that seems harsh to some, but because there are so many requesting statuses and we are all volunteer here we had to implement the time frame.
