So glad I found this forum. It has answered a number of questions I had about DMOZ.

Our site http://www-tiffany-lamps-store.com was submitted to the directory over 8 weeks ago and we have not heard anything. Unfortunately we were unaware that multiple submissions were frowned upon. I believe we submitted 3 or 4 times.

At any rate, letting us know the status of our submission to http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Home_and_Garden/Electrical/Lighting/Handcrafted/ is very much appreciated.

Your site has been published in the category last week, with URL changed from http://www.tiffany-lamps-store.com to http://store.yahoo.com/tiffany-lamps-store/, and is already visible on the public side (title Tiffany-Lamps-Store.com)

Many thanks for your quick reply. I did not drill down into the category before posting my question, I simply searched the directory for our URL and came up empty.

Should we have gotten an e-mail confirmation of this listing?

And (sigh) DMOZ search isn't current right now. (Long story.)
