Resubitting to a more appropriate category

Hi, I suggested a website to a category little more than a month ago, but have in the meantime realized that there is a more appropriate category for the website I suggested. Would it be in order if I resubmit/resuggest the website to the more appropriate category, even though the first submission has not been reviewed yet? What will haven with the previous submission if I do resubmit?

One re-suggestion to a different category is fine and we'll handle the original suggestion appropriately when we get to it.

Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to further re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive.
