Resubmiting to a better directory while waiting for inclusion. Outsource vs. Staffing

I've been reading through the information in this form and linked to by this forum. It has been about a month since I submitted, but today I think I may have found a more accurate category (there is a fine line between staffing services and outsourcing services -- What is the difference?)

One post said after a month, I could resubmit ONE TIME. If I resubmit to the new category I think might be more accurate, would I have a better chance of getting listed, or is this not recommended?

I've read here that my submission could end up in the wrong queue repeatedly. My thinking is that the only way resubmitting could hurt me is if my site has already been moved to the new category and I resubmit, moving it back to the bottom of the queue. Should I go for it? Any other comments?

Resuggesting a site one time to what you think is a more appropriate category won't be a problem. A reviewing editor will also do that for you if they agree when the come upon your original suggestion so there is no need to worry.

The post about waiting a month and resuggesting is not quite right. The most important thing to read in regards to an ODP suggestion would be the actual Site Suggestion Instructions dmoz provides and that one acknowledges having read at the time of the suggestion. Those read:
Please only submit a URL to the Open Directory once.

That being said in most cases no one will complain if you once resuggest the site a second time. I would wait a lot longer than 1 month before resuggesting to the same category, but if you think you got the category wrong the first time its ok to resuggest it once now to the most appropriate category. Then there is no need to worry about it any more.

Hope that helps.
