Resubmitting A Site - Advice please

Someone has told me that I need to submit my site to DMOZ on a regular basis - like once a month. I'm sure this isn't true. I always thought that once your site was listed, that was it and there was no need to bother the editor(s) again with a reminder. I am correct:icon_ques
