Hello everyone

I have just lauchned a Muslim Matrimonial website (www.mehbooba.co.uk), about 2 weeks ago. After being told about the wonderful service that DMOZ provides i rushed to the site and submitted our website TWICE without properly reading the guidelines, to the category :

Society: Religion and Spirituality: Islam: Social Aspects: Matrimonials

However, after burning the midnight oil and doing the research I realised I had been a fool and not adhered to the guidelines.

So what I have done, today, is resubmitted my site trying to stick to the stated DMOZ submission guidelines. I tried to put a note to the editors [in brackets] explaining why i had submitted the site again, in the description field. However, this meant my word count exceeding 30 words and when i hit submit, i got a message saying the title or message was incorrect.

I therefore removed the note to the editor and hit submit and all was ok, it was accepted.

Now the question, will DMOZ penalise me for submitting the site again as I genuinely made a foolish mistake in submitting the site initially without reading the guidelines and I sincerely apologise for that. Is there any way the editor (there is no specific editor assigned to that category) can read this message and accept my reason and sincere apology.

Would appreciate some feedback on this matter.

Many thanks in advance

No, two suggestions is not spamming. You've got to work much harder than that.
