This question implies you know the website has been reviewed. You can only know this if the site is listed. If something has to be changed you should use the "update listing" at the top of the category the site is listed in.
If the site is not listed you can not know if it is rejected or if it is still waiting for review. Ahh. I see you have asked before and were told is was rejected. If the site is now compliant to DMOZ guidelines and has enough content you may suggest the site again. But for a directory to be listed it needs a lot of content, and I mean realy a lot.

Why?

Why does a directory has to have a lot of content?
And if my goal is to have a directory that has the most common things that someone needs everyday? Isn't this also a worthy goal?

Yes, it certainly is a worthy goal.
Many sites have worthy goals and their owners can be realy proud of them, but maybe it is not something we will list at DMOZ.

It is not for us to say whether or not your direcotry goal is worthwhile.

We can, and do, insist that directories have lots of rich content before we will list them. If someone builds a directory in the hopes of generating AdSense revenue, their directory is probably not listable. If someone builds a directory to fill a niche where there is no other directory, and set out to make it the most authoritative directory of its kind, they will have a much better chance of eventually being listed.
