Some time ago i tried to get my page submitted to dmoz, my page was visited, but i didn't get submitted, and i didn't get any declined message(nor did i expect one).

First the question:
when i submitted my page before, could it have been a problem that it were on a subdomain and not a real domain(it is on real now).

then the Review im pleading for:
since i didn't get added i wonder what was wrong, i send a message and asked, but got no reply.

The page does have 3 pops, not at the same time, and all on a 12h unique. If thats too many i will have no problem cutting it down too two, or maybe less.

The page has 1 468x60 banner, and 2 text links, none of them are intrusive or annoying. the text links are relevant.

No blind links.

I just want to know what i should change on my page to get it listed.

http://www.seriesdb.com/List.php
NOTE: updated link to more accuratly reflect content, and what link i used to submit.

in the "episode guide" category where i want it listed there are many pages with little or no content, so i doubt its because there are too many pages with the same content. And even with those pages, there are only about 50 pages in the category.

Hi Tobias,

Your site has not been rejected, according to our logs. The visit you noticed could for instance have been from an editor who wanted to check that the site was not dead, or who decided not to review it at that time. If you post a status question in the Submission Status forum and include a clickable link to the category you submitted to, an editor will check your site submission status for you.

Just out of curiousity, why do you have all those completely unrelated news links prominently displayed on the main page? At first glance, it really looks as though the site is a tech news portal, not an episode guide database -- the links to the series are effectively buried.

yeah i know, i use it as my personal frontpage, and thus like those feeds, they are completely customizable by the user once logged in.

But because of that i also submitted http://www.seriesdb.com/List.php so the reviewer would get a real look at the page, instead of dismissing it because it looked to be in the wrong category.

At the left in the sidebar there is a "list series" and i know its hard to look at, but its not meant for people to enter to that page, and it was an error that the link did not go to List.php in the link i first posted, ill edit it.

For entrance to the page i always submit List.php, and i also rely on google to index my sub pages, to give more relevant pages to a user.

To sumerize. The / page is a userdefined frontpage, not the main page /List.php is meant as the main page.

Thanks for your answer.

as the third post pointed out, that page looks more like a tech site, because of that i submitted http://www.seriesdb.com/List.php to DMOZ, and not the other link.

About 1 week ago i tried to submit again, ill wait a little before asking for the status, this thread was just to make sure i hadn't made some major error, or annoying add, on my page.

If the List.php might have made a difference in your query i would be very happy if you tried it with.

Thanks for your ansewr
