As you can see, I'm a new user, so, first of all --->> Hi guys!! :)

I think it's almost 3 months that I've sent my first submission request, and today I've sent the second one :D

Actually, I don't remember my first shot, but today I'm pretty sure that I've suggested my web site (<url removed>) under the http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Operating_Systems/Linux/ category :)

Anyway...let me ask you just a couple of questions:

- do you have any tip for a better category??
- are third level domains allowed?? I think so...am I right??
- do you think my web site has a chance to get listed?? I hope so

Thanks for your help!!

today I've sent the second one

Thus there is no reason for you to do a third one.

do you have any tip for a better category??

The webamster is usually the best judge of that, but considering the fact you have already suggested it twice, the issue is moot.

are third level domains allowed

They are not disallowed, every suggestion is judged on its own uniqueness and merits.

do you think my web site has a chance to get listed

That is not a service we offer.

thanks for your answers spectregunner ;)

regarding my last question, let's make it different, so maybe you can answer me :)
I just want to understand your quality standard, for the future...

Supposing that my web site won't never get listed...in your opinion, what's wrong with it?? :)

Thanks...!!

EDIT: PS = why did motsa remove the url?? it wasn't spam (-com instead of .com)!! robots doesn't follow... :(

The reasons why we choose to list or not list a site when it gets reviewed are publicly available for anyone to see: Open Directory Editing Guidelines: Site Selection Criteria. If you can be objective, you should be able to judge for yourself whether or not your site meets those criteria.

(Discussion of individual sites is not something that's allow on this forum -- so we routinely remove URLs to avoid any temptation to do otherwise.)

anyway, I realize that the only thing I can do is waiting :)
