Same website, different geographic location

We are about to move to another State, and our business - guest ranching - will be essentially the same in the new State. I will of course change my meta tags and key words to reflect the move, but how can I change the geographic location within DMOZ, or any search engine? (My site was submitted several years ago.)

When you have changed your site content to reflect the moving, go to the category where the site is listed, click on "Update URL" and enter the new location in the "reason" box.

After processing that inquiry and moving your listing over to the new location, also external data users like http://directory.google.com/ will sooner or later change their listings.
