Search and Listing Problem

Please help!

I have a listing in dmoz for the past couple of months. The problem is the listing does not come up in a dmoz search nor does it appear on sites that utilize dmoz data.

Another interesting point is the entry before and after my listing works fine and does come up in a search. Any clues?

My site is listed here in DMOZ:

It's not unusual for a recent listing to not show up on dmoz.org site search. Not to worry. It'll happen when it happens (it's a semi-automatic process not controlled by editors.)

Time?

It's been about 2 months. Should it take longer than that?

Possibly. It would depend on when the data user (Google, etc) updates from dmoz.org and we don't have any control over when that might be.

As for searching dmoz.org-that always lags behind and is often less than reliable to drilling down specific listings.

Actually having actually looked I was able to locate it in the google directory.

To clarify - Google says it's in their directory

http://www.google.com/search?q=bitochon.com&btnG=Search+Directory&hl=en&cat=gwd/Top

but I don't see it there, but that's a Google issue and totally out of our control - you need to ask them.

Likewise - anyone who uses DMOZ data and does not list your site, you will have to discuss with them why their version of the directory is not up to date, it's out of our control.

You just have to have some bitochen that it will show up someday.
