Shall I re-submit?

Initially I submitted my site about a year ago. After not hearing and not seeing any results about 7 months later I went ahead and re-submitted. Now, coming on 5 month's since, shall I do it again?

Something tells me that the category may be missing an editor and if that's the case, wont' it be better to post a sign and disable submit form to that category? I am certain I'm not the only one trying to submit there and I seriously doubt there will be anyone willing to go through thousands of backlogged submissions.

Is DMOZ still alive?

We're still alive but the category where your site belongs may not be the top priority for any editor at the moment. That could change at any time. If you last suggested your site 5 months ago (i.e. after our crash of last year), then really all you can do now is just let it go -- someone will take a look at it eventually.
