Should a company be allowed to list if they are no longer trading?

I see a company listed that is no longer trading and going through bankcrupt proceedings, the bank account is frozen by the authorities and the owner is tactfully keeping the site active and signing clients over to another company with a similar trade name. Is this allowed on dmoz?

Not really no, but how would we know?

Sadly, we bump into so many malevolent liars on the interwebs these days that an anonymous third party's say so isn't enough evidence for us to act. A notice on the website itself would be pretty conclusive, as would a verifiable link to a court proceeding's records or some such.

If you know of such a case and have adequate evidence, by all means visit the category and present it in an update listing request.

Understood.
Actually I have outstanding debts with them as I used to work for them, my bailif has frozen their account, company owns no assets etc.
I have done as you asked and provided a couple of links on the form, and agree to provide any necessary evidence to back up my claims.
I hope it can be removed as it angers me to see such companies getting away with such unidentified fraudulent activity.
