Hi,

I submitted my application to be an editor about a month ago, and was wondering if a new application to the same category would be of benefit or not?

It is still waiting.
DMOZ has changed to a new version of software. As a result meta-editors are very busy with all kind of tasks and we have not been able to process application requests as fast as we would like. Please be patient.
You will receive an email when it is processed.

That's not correct. It was declined this morning and email was sent to you explaining why. I'll PM you a copy of the email in a mo.

It seems as though the tool used by Elper to check hasn't been updated yet.

Nope, it was just pure negligence. I recopied the response from a moved post without double checking :(
