Should we keep trying - error 500

I just wondered if we should keep trying when served with a 500 error page - or if we should mail the webmaster - I'm sure he's well aware of the problems. Just want to clarify that it's ok to keep hitting the submit button in the hope that I'll get a success at some point.

You're correct, staff are well aware of the problem, and you should just keep trying until it works. Trying at times when the US is asleep is a good idea.

I don't know that I would recommend this action though as it just contributes to the problems on the server <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

I would take dfy's advice and try in the off hours.

Yes, that probably will only add to the problems - will try during quieter Northern American times <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Now I get the "Site exists" message instead so I guess something is happening or...?

hi all

I suggest not to keep hitting submit button because I have tried much at the time of US asleep. I am from INDIA and tried atleast 100 times every hour from mrng. to evng. so wait untill dmoz announcement.
