Significant site changes and long delay in getting listed: re-submit?

My website was submitted to DMOZ back in October 2003. To date, it is still not listed in the DMOZ directory.

Since that time, my site has undergone significant changes, not just content on the main pages, but hundreds of pages of additional content.

Given that 2 1/2 years have passed since submission and the site is still not listed, and given that significant changes have been made, should I resubmit the site? I do not want to endanger my chances of being listed. However, given how long I have been waiting, I am beginning to feel as if my site will never be listed.

If you have not been regularly resubmitting, feel free to submit once more to the single best category.

The webmaster who makes a good faith resubmission every 2.5 years is definitely NOT part of the problem.
